The included breakfast was not great. I have 4 kids and the cereal they offered was Raisin Bran ? We were there for two nights and our first morning they didn’t have the waffle mix and simply dismissed it saying we will have it tomorrow. Two of my kids were set on waffles, so not much fun for them. No coffee on arrival. Empty again the next morning. No yogurt on morning one but there was on morning two. Only bruised apples offered for fruit… wait staff very rude when asked any questions.

Liked the location as it's in a busy shopping district with many food and entertainment options. Was here for a Christmas party and the staff were great. Rooms were nice and modern, but the room was hot and I found it hard to adjust temperature. However, it was decorated for the holidays nicely and added to the experience. Elevators do take time and I found myself often waiting for one. Other than that 10/10. There was tons of parking and checking in and out was seamless.

First off, the staff were not helpful whatsoever. Getting extra towels was like pulling teeth. “Sorry we don’t clean rooms if you’re here only two night” that’s fine but we need towels. The towels were as thin as hospitals Kleenex & have to be 3-4 years old minimum. The toaster was rusty, yes you read that correct, rusty. Toasters aren’t expensive, go buy a new one. The water pressure was bad, but that’s not bad. The icing on the cake was the pool/hot tub. The chlorine level was set for 1000 on a scale of 1-10. My black shorts & black shirt turned orange from bring in it. When mentioning it at check out the agent said THAT’S GOOD! Like did he think I wanted my clothes to be ruined or didn’t understand a word I said? I have been to the Residence Inn many times in the eastern seaboard, this was ATROCIOUS!

This hotel was in a great location and well maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. There were lots of dining and shopping options in the area as well. You are only a few minutes away from downtown Halifax, the airport and Dartmouth. We did not find traffic bad in the area either. We checked out the pool and it was very nice. There is a water slide, hot tub and large size pool to swim in.

My two-week stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Dartmouth was absolutely fantastic. A true home away from home. My room felt like a spacious condo, allowing me to settle in quickly and comfortably. I loved the complimentary breakfast each morning; the staff's energy and laughs were the perfect start to my day that I needed. The location was also ideal, just a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Halifax and lots of food options within a short walking distance just around the hotel. To top it all off, I accidentally left a device in my room, and the hotel's top-tier customer service truly shone. Big thank you to Alex L. She shipped it back to my house, which I received today. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Nova Scotia again! Thanks for making my stay one to remember.
