If I could give service ten stars I would. From the door man to front desk to the lovely people working in chop. Front desk was very accommodating friendly and right on. Two specific shout outs to the ladies in chop.. first off Stephanie went above and beyond and treated us like kings. Thank you very much for everything. The second shoutout would be to the red headed lady, she’s saucy (in a good way) and super duper nice. We really enjoyed every single aspect of this place.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and spotless throughout, with modern design and very comfortable beds. The food at the hotel was delicious and made our trip even better. Every single staff member we encountered was polite and welcoming, and Travis really stood out for his friendly service and attention to detail. From check in to check out, everything was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Halifax for business or leisure.

Fantastic hotel. So people are aware, it is adjacent to the Convention Centre, but you do have to walk a few meters outside, there's no bridge or tunnel. Also, coffee shops are a couple blocks away. Chop, on site, serves all meals, but is a more traditional restaurant, not for the "grab and go" as much. Still a great location and very welcoming stay. Bathrooms a particular shout out for being so well done!

Wow!! Highly recommend. Valet service, room 19th floor and excellent full window views of the city. The Restaurant “Chop” had great service. All people waiting on us with smiles. Great steak. Most tender and tasty I have ever had. Keep up the great work on all fronts.

Such a beautiful hotel in a great location. Staff was helpful - shout out to Ian for helping me with a last minute room change for my second night. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. The view was stunning and the bathroom was a dream. Beds were so comfortable. The phone system in the room with the Alexa speaker is a bit technical for me and it did cause issues with our supper order. Only thing that would make the stay even better is apps like netfix on the TV’s and complimentary coffee in the lobby. The nespresso in the room was a treat, but most people prefer a cup of coffee, but you have to purchase one from chop steakhouse.

The Sutton Place Halifax has become my home away from home. I stay here every Holiday Season for multiple nights, and they make me feel like family. The team is incredibly hospitable and welcoming. The location is unbeatable. Get to know the team at CHOP steakhouse in the lobby; they are excellent. Travis (Guest Services Supervisor) made our stay extra special. Thanks Sutton Place Team. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well organized, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the service — especially from JOJO. Jojo was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, always noticing the small details before I even had to ask. From check-in to daily support, the service was genuinely above and beyond: patient, proactive, and incredibly considerate. It’s rare to meet someone so professional yet so warm. We have a wonderful stay at The Sutton Place in Halifax. The front office staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made check-in a great experience. I even received a room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. The room is in excellent condition and I had an amazing view overlooking Halifax. Everything felt well maintained and comfortable. We stayed at The Sutton Place in Toronto before and had a great experience there as well. I would absolutely book The Sutton Place in Halifax as well as in Toronto again.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, and our executive suite was both beautiful and immaculate. However, a few issues made our stay less than 'flawless.' Two of the elevators were out of order during our visit, which was quite inconvenient. Additionally, as we were traveling with a small child, we relied on room service; unfortunately, the food was consistently late -once by 40 minutes - which disrupted our baby’s sleep schedule. While the room was lovely, the heating system was so loud that I barely slept. On a positive note, the valet service was professional and very punctual. I’m giving this a 4 star rating, though I expected a higher level of service for this type of establishment.
