I’ve stayed here personally many times on business and pleasure and is a beautiful Marriott hotel on the waterfront. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating in every aspect of your stay. The rooms, exercise room, and restaurant are all top class with no disappointments. I also like that you can take the sky walk to the local casino and easy access to the boardwalk. This is my go to hotel when visiting Halifax!

I’ve stayed here twice so far. (4 nights in February this time) This hotel is wonderful. The staff are excellent, trained to a very high level. Everyone is nice, and professional. The club was great, with continental food out in the morning, and also a small hot food breakfast menu. The food was good, and the service was great! The restaurant was friendly, with great service, and a good choice of beer. It also stays open fairly late, which helped when I arrived late. The room was amazing and spacious and had a great view of the harbor. The hotel is also very well located along the harbor front. It is a a short walk to the ferry and to restaurants and coffee shops.

This was a absolutely wonderful stay. Room was beautiful. View of the harbour was worth every penny. Everything was very clean from room to poolside. Room was nice and quiet. Staff were all very friendly and even the room maid consistently asked if we needed anything when walking to and from. Very nice to be located within walking distance of almost everything we looked to enjoy in Halifax. The front desk recommended Uber as we checked out which saved us plenty compared to a Taxi. I’ll always cherish my memory of this experience.

I stayed at Marriott Harbourfront Halifax for 4 days and had a very disappointing experience. The comforter in my room was stained and visibly dirty (as shown in the photo). I have sensitive skin, and After using the bedding, my skin reacted with itching and irritation and I developed small bumps/pimples, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. The pillow also did not feel clean. When I called reception about the comforter, I was told that housekeeping does not change comforters every day and they only replace the duvet cover. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard, especially when a guest raises a hygiene concern. After insisting, housekeeping did replace the comforter, but this situation should never happen in the first place. On top of that, my room key repeatedly stopped working. During my 4-day stay, I had to go down to the front desk almost five times just to get my key reactivated, which was extremely inconvenient. I have been a Marriott Bonvoy member in India for many years and have never experienced this level of poor cleanliness and service. This was a very bad experience overall. Poor hygiene, especially with bedding, can seriously affect guests’ health. I strongly advise guests to carefully check the comforter, pillows, and bedsheets before sleeping.

The hotel manager is very nice and accommodating. I had a work meeting that I had to attend, down by the hotel. I could only Pop in for a few minutes since I had my dog with me in my truck and I had to leave the truck running. I was looking for a spot and ended up speaking with him. He parked me right in front of the front doors so I can see the truck and go into my meeting. Though I have stayed here many times before, I wasn’t a customer this evening, and he went out of his way to accommodate me. It was very much appreciated and very kind of him.

Hotel staff was very kind and upgraded us to a nice suite with a waterfront view. The coffee machines are a bit outdated and no ice machine on our floor. Also great that they connect with the pedways to access other buildings without needing to go outside! Perfect location near a lot of restaurants and shopping. Super quiet alsl

Had the chance to stay here for an overnight pleasure trip with my wife. The location is amazing, being downtown in the historic old city center. The hotel has lots of character, and the rooms are all top class. We got upgraded to a king signature suite overlooking the harbor. The view was great, the room was very tastefully decorated and very roomy. There was a two sided fireplace, with one side, facing the bed and the other facing a sitting area. The desk area overlooked the harbor. Underground parking was very spacious, and included a number of EV charge points, which is a great option when visiting. We were able to park our car and just walk through the city to enjoy the Local pubs, bars, restaurants, and shops. This is our new favourite place to stay in Halifax

A must-stay location in downtown Halifax. Parking and access very convenient. Beautiful, welcoming foyer. Great decor. Excellent restaurant. Pedways make access to casino, etc. very quick and easy (amd warm-ish). Highly recommend!

We enjoy staying at the Marriot. The hotel has underground parking. A lovely reception area with hot apple cider in the winter months. The restaurant has a wide ranging breakfast menu. We are vegetarians and had no issue finding something to eat on the menu. We ate elsewhere for dinner as there are many options nearby. The rooms are clean and modern looking. Situated next to the Halifax waterfront and withinn 7 mins walking distance to the lil Christmas market there. The staff are professional and go out of there way to make your stay a pleasant one. We asked if we could keep your vehicle in the underground parking area on our checkout day to see a show at the Neptune and it wasn't a problem.

This is the BEST mariott experience I have ever had after being an avid Mariott customer since childhood. The reason: the amazing people who work here!! The QUEEN here is Renata from the M lounge; I have never met someone so sweet, humble and friendly! She literally single-handedly made our 8-day stay phenomenonal. The joy she gave to our toddler was unprecedented and her gentle manner and games will always be remembered. Another really valuable member of the team we want to give credit to is Ayman from the front desk who made our stay so enjoyable with a nice welcome to Halifax and Nova Scotia and was always available when we had questions and concerns! We also want to give a shout out to Angelica, Jenn, Yoshida and Naomi from the M lounge, who were always smiling and ready to serve us. The Halifax harbourfront mariott M lounge is literally the best club lounge we have ever been to! It allowed for an-inclusive experience, with excellent breakfast and dinner hours (6:30-11:30 and 4-10pm), great variety of food, and tons of snacks and drinks all the time. I think the part we really appreciated was the consideration: to-go biodegradable boxes and bags and everyone being so sweet about taking our left-overs. The pool was excellent - we swam daily! The temperature of the pool area and water was very comfortable. A few suggestions to make the experience even better: clean the pool area floor twice daily to prevent dust/dirt from getting into water, increase the temperature of the changing area (literally freezing) and make the whirlpool less hot. The check in service given by Ayman, SK and Riley were really appreciated. The check-in for kids and the scavenger hunt is so cute and appreciated! It gave our toddler such a wonderful experience.
