Our second visit to this lovely hotel in the North End of Halifax. Everything you need for your stay, close to all the sites but even better because it’s in the best neighborhood for quieter visits to some of the city’s best restaurants and cafes. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Hope to visit again!

We spent five nights at Brewery Park Hotel and loved the location, very walkable. The room is beautiful and incredibly clean. I was disappointed that there was no way to cook food in the room as it’s shown there’s a kitchenette. Upon reading other reviews after our stay I saw that you could request a microwave, however I don’t recall seeing that information anywhere during booking or check-in. I would recommend to provide a microwave in each room. I’m not sure what time housekeeping does their rounds, but for three afternoons we put the sign on our door for cleaning and no one came. We had to go down to the lobby and request more towels, which they did promptly bring. Overall, we had a great stay! My review serves to hopefully let others know what to request ahead of time.

We stayed four nights at the Brewery Park Hotel. While the hotel is not perfect, many of the quirks have been mentioned in other reviews. What makes this hotel great is the location. So many amazing coffee shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We went to the waterfront twice and both times we just wanted to go back to the area around the hotel. Pros: Location near amazing food, lots of room, beautiful room with lots of windows, great firm mattress, easy check in and check out. Cons: No parking (luckily the ticket is only $25). No elevator. Rain shower head only in room 2301. No mini fridge, a wine cooler which does not go below 41° I’d stay here again and recommend you do too. Some of our favorite food and beverages in the neighborhood: The Ostrich Club Bar Kizmet Good Robot The Narrows Almonac Espresso 46 Bramble Coffee Lucy’s Hydrostone Cafe Chain Yard Urban Cidery I wish we had more time as the people in the neighborhood were generous with there suggestions of more places to eat.

We have stayed at the Brewery Park many times now, in fact it’s our No1 choice when staying in Halifax. Each room is basically the same and yet with unique detail that sets it apart, the style is fresh, clean & modern. Even the landscaping detail outside with its native plants and rustic benches sets the tone that for a comfortable welcoming.

I love this hotel! I've stayed here several times. The location is in an up and coming neighbourhood in Halifax with lots to walk to. It's clean and the beds are super comfy. I like the ease of the door codes for access. There's no elevator but only 2 floors. Make sure your luggage isn't too heavy. I will definitely stay here again.

Extremely disappointed and shocked with the callousness and level of service here. I originally booked a refundable two night stay as I was supposed to be flying in from out of town to attend a funeral. I spoke with someone from the hotel via messaging and let them know that I was supposed to be flying in early and they said they’d be able to accommodate me for early check-in and all seemed fine. Unfortunately, my flight was cancelled because of the historic ice storm, and as a result I was unable to attend the funeral. I messaged the hotel and let them know as soon as I had found out. I never received a response to that message… Fine. I called the next morning to let them know of my situation and to ask for a possible refund. I understood that the refundable date had passed but considering this was an act of weather that was outside of anyone’s control (12,000 flights cancelled across the country), I thought they would be accommodating but instead I was told that it was “against policy” and that they would do nothing for me other than to rebook (why would I rebook for a funeral that has already passed…?). In all my 15 years of traveling and staying at various hotels globally, I have never once encountered a hotel that was unable to adjust their policy if they wanted to. I was given the runaround and told to contact Hotels.com (which I did) and who told me to contact the hotel. You can imagine how frustrating of a situation that is to be in, being told two different things, while dealing with the grief of missing the funeral. The woman I spoke with on the phone (who claimed to be the manager) told me Hotels.com would have to be the ones to reach out to them in order for me to get a refund. I contacted Hotels.com again and they attempted to contact the hotel to waive the cancellation policy and I received a message that the hotel refused. Fine. I can accept that. However, I attempted to call the hotel back multiple times to understand what my next options were and received no answer until eventually my number was blocked and I was sent straight to voicemail. I understand that a weather event is out of anyone’s control and I would have been fine had I been able to speak to someone to figure out a solution but whoever I originally spoke to on the phone treated me with such disregard and disrespect, it was shocking. I love Halifax and I’ve always had such good memories here and I choose boutique hotels specifically for the experience but this was very, very disappointing and revealing of this business' ethics. I’ve never stayed here so I cannot tell you anything about the quality of the room but the treatment and service was appalling. Do not recommend.

Brewery Park is a sweet and authentic Halifax North End experience. The charmingly decorated suites in the historic building blend contemporary convenience with minimalist style and individual character. The units are spotlessly clean, kitchens are simple and well-appointed, water pressure is excellent, and the HVAC cranks up to cozy in no time on cold winter nights. The platform beds in the sleep alcoves are like nests, with great linens and even better pillows. I stayed for three nights at the start of my December 2025 Nova Scotia vacation, and liked it so much that I stayed another three nights at the end of my trip.

I had an amazing 2 night stay. Cozy little apartment style room. Beautiful touches inside. Comfortable bed. Went to an amazing dinner right down the street and was able to run around the neighborhood. Sweet spot and can’t wait to stay again when in town.

Brewery Park is a great little boutique hotel. Large, well appointed rooms with lots of space to work relax and sleep. It’s in a neat neighbourhood of Halifax with lots of cool bars and restaurants just steps away. Have to give a shout out to Bar Kismet, just three minutes walk away. It’s an excellent spot for a very pleasurable dinner with an inventive menu and delightful serving staff.

The room itself was relatively clean. However, I'm 175cm tall, and the bed was too short. The bed was too small and too soft, so while it looked nice from the outside, my back was very uncomfortable while sleeping. I hope you don't just delete this post, but manage it with the customer in mind.
