Very friendly staff and fantastic view from the room we have. The free breakfast was great and there where choices. Also has a pool that is just right for the kids. Will use this hotel ever time I come home to visit

We stayed here may 12th and had a great stay. The woman working the front desk was very nice and accommodating to us (travelling with a person with disability) which we greatly appreciate! Rooms were quite nice and hallways being renovated should be even nicer in the future ? woman working gets 5 stars alone, thank you!

Very friendly check-in, but I don't recommend this hotel. I had items that came up missing and the manager was very indifferent and wasn't willing to accept that her staff was capable of doing anything inappropriate. Comfort Inn main customer relations kept saying that they were not able to help me out and to contact the hotel manager. Major runaround. I am out $120.00 in personal items. Definitely not the way to start your vacation. You always hear about nightmares like this but don't think that it will happen to you.

Great location, very fresh and updated rooms . The beds were extremely comfortable and the walk-in showers were easily accessible. Highly recommend this motel if you're in the halifax area.

I have now stayed at this hotel on several occasions just because I love the atmosphere. I love the positioning of it. The view off the front decks are absolutely incredible. The staff has always been absolutely personable, understanding incredibly helpful. Always cheerful. There's a young lady there that works in the evenings with blonde hair and glasses. She's an absolute sweetheart. I'm so sorry. I don't know her name, but the best first impression I've had at a hotel this young lady has been for me. She's the reason I've been back multiple times now. Thank you very much.

Snow bank made it impossible to use drive up room. We were given another room and narrow" sidewalk was solid ice. Suggested we use hallway entrance but hallway was under renovation and heavy smell of wet plaster was inappropriate and unhealthy (I have C.O.P.D.) Our reservation was cancelled and we could not find another suitable pet friendly room in Halifax. Had to book a room 90 km away. These drive up rooms should not be rented in winter and hotel should not be opened when there is heavy renovations going on. I have photos to show all this. Been going to this hotel on and off for over 20 years … must say that our Valentine trip was badly ruined.

Booked last minute and the staff were very accomodating to our late check in, the building was under renovations but was absolutely no problem at all. It just means this place will be nicer in the future. Room was fantastic and modern. Will stay here again

The location is centrally located close to the highway and an easy drive to down town. There is a bus stop close by if you don't want to drive in to Halifax. The views are magnificent and you can watch the boats coming and going along with the train. The rooms are dated and although they were mostly clean there was some stains on the walls, hair in the shower stall and stains on the mattress pad.

Room was nice, but they didn't make the beds or clean the bathroom after our first night. They said our do not disturb sign was up during the day, which it wasn't. Breakfast was good though.

This place is about what you would expect from a two star hotel. However the breakfast was quite good for a free breakfast and the rooms were very modern looking. The hotel has a nice water front view and is only a 20 minute drive to Halifax.
