Snow bank made it impossible to use drive up room. We were given another room and narrow" sidewalk was solid ice. Suggested we use hallway entrance but hallway was under renovation and heavy smell of wet plaster was inappropriate and unhealthy (I have C.O.P.D.) Our reservation was cancelled and we could not find another suitable pet friendly room in Halifax. Had to book a room 90 km away. These drive up rooms should not be rented in winter and hotel should not be opened when there is heavy renovations going on. I have photos to show all this. Been going to this hotel on and off for over 20 years … must say that our Valentine trip was badly ruined.

Booked last minute and the staff were very accomodating to our late check in, the building was under renovations but was absolutely no problem at all. It just means this place will be nicer in the future. Room was fantastic and modern. Will stay here again

The location is centrally located close to the highway and an easy drive to down town. There is a bus stop close by if you don't want to drive in to Halifax. The views are magnificent and you can watch the boats coming and going along with the train. The rooms are dated and although they were mostly clean there was some stains on the walls, hair in the shower stall and stains on the mattress pad.

Room was nice, but they didn't make the beds or clean the bathroom after our first night. They said our do not disturb sign was up during the day, which it wasn't. Breakfast was good though.

This place is about what you would expect from a two star hotel. However the breakfast was quite good for a free breakfast and the rooms were very modern looking. The hotel has a nice water front view and is only a 20 minute drive to Halifax.

I would appreciate Comfort Inn team. We are new to Halifax and stayed in there for 3 nights. They have been so nice and hospitable. They helped us with keeping our luggage after check out for the whole day. This helped us to find a place for living. That has been a very good memory from Halifax. I would appreciate their hospitality.

Myself and my Husband stayed one night and were disappointed how the rooms looked different compared to images online. Room seemed dirty, hair on bed and in fridge. Light bulbs out, shower was nice until the water was going insanely hot to freezing cold. Door to room was broken and continued to beep repeatedly. Drug deals and prostitute seen in parking lot. Morning breakfast was amazing and staff were very nice.

It should be advertised that the parking lot is on a hill. Not very motorcycle friendly. It should also be advertised somewhere that the hotel allows drug deals to go on in the parking lot. The room had an awful smell but looked great. The bed was really comfortable once you got past the smell. Breakfast was cold but the fruit was really good. Would not recommend.
