I am very disheartened to have to make this review of a small, local family business. Be very cautious in ordering firewood. After paying for 2 cord, and delivery upfront (my own mistake),I was advised I would have delivery in 3 to 4 weeks. I have been met with zero communication. At the 4 week mark, Having tried calling multiple times I was finally told it would be another 3-4 weeks due to the woods ban (which took effect after my firewood was originally supposed to be delivered). Once this time frame had elapsed I again had to chase a response of hopefully in the next two weeks, I advised them that this time line did not work with my schedule and I would require refund. It has now been almost 2 weeks with no response to phone calls or emails and I have been forced to request a charge back through my bank.

Amazing family with so much love for the bisons and the nature. The Bratwurst and burger are best quality! The bison tour was also really great experience ... We stayed also 2 nights in the wonderful new cottage ....a dream...... ..

Great place and even better hosts. We had the pleasure of doing the Clydesdale experience. We’ve been around horses before but this was something on another level. Very intimate and exactly what we needed to help get through the loss of a loved one. A big thank you to Christiane for the top notch hospitality.

This is the place to go to for an outing. Fresh air, quite peaceful atmosphere, free run chickens, Lindsay lake, forestry and of course the reason to visit is the Bison, all 40 + wonderful animals. We were driven on a small bus ride to see them. You can purchase a quick picnic snack, when ordering your tickets. This self-sustained farm/lodge/eatery/store is growing fast. The Teerling family has turned this piece of land into a great outing experience. ? Thank you!
