Nalu retreat is an exceptional place like no other to relax. Second to none worldwide. You get all the comforts you expect from a 5 star resort, plus more, like hot tub, outdoor and indoor fireplaces and much more. Plus a lot of quiet time. The domes are spectacular. The only thing you see out from the huge windows is nature. We went in the winter and had a great time. Fully recommended. We will come back

My wife and I were looking for a little weekend getaway from home and this was it. We stayed in Dome 2 and the view was phenomenal. Clear view of the lake, and the hot tub was perfect on a cool winter night. The dome was quite spacious, cozy and relaxing. Perfect to just disconnect from the world and reconnect with loved ones. You get a lot of privacy from the other domes. I would not have been able to say where I was going had domes. That's how private it is. We selected the all inclusive package and it was worth every penny. Tracy, the massage therapist was fantastic. She listen to what was needed and explained everything about what she was doing and what it was for. Providing great massages The food included with the all inclusive package was catered, and when we arrived it was in the fridge. The Lamb Sheppard pie, the charcuterie board, and the blueberry brownie cheese cake was delicious and worth it. We did run into some issues with the indoor fireplace where it wouldn't work , and as soon as we let them know, Paul immediately contacted me and came over to fix it in the afternoon. Which was fantastic. The indoor fireplace really did help make it more relaxing. Phenomenal exprerience. I would recommend this for anyone. And hopefully, another return to Nalu in the future for us.

I travelled two hours to have a solo retreat at Nalu, and I was not disappointed! The dome was very comfortable, clean, and it was clear that every little detail was designed and curated with a great deal of thought and care. My hopes for this retreat were to immerse myself in nature, and to relax in peace and quiet without having to interact with others. I felt safe as a solo traveller, and left my stay feeling rested and grateful to have found this unique experience. The customer service was exceptional, and I feel confident that my next stay will be even more peaceful!

I don't think you can have a better, more serene and life enhancing experience in Canada then what you will experience at Nalu Retreat !!!! My Wife and I keep coming back to Nalu for the absolute life altering experience this place provides. The peace, calm and serenity of this place is World Class. That paired with the attention to detail, decor and absolute elite class design of the units will change what you think a retreat should be. We cant thank Paul, Sandy and Ish enough for this marvel they have created and for the amazing hospitality they show their guest. We are treated like family and with the highest degree of service every time we come by here. Perfect 2 night early fall reset, conveniently located for our needs. The domes are lovely, spacious and immaculate. The amenities of hot tub, bbq, fire pit, fire stove, massage and made to order meal were appreciated. The pre-stay communication and information was extremely helpful. Arriving items very well intentioned and thought out, milk, water, chocolates, etc. Disconnect and reconnect here!

My husband and I stayed at Nalu Retreat in September 2025. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were gonna enjoy a relaxing 3 days! The domes are awesome, beautiful and more spacious than we thought they would be. This place is a gem! Quiet, relaxing, and an absolute perfect spot to disconnect! Comfortable all around, from the couch overlooking the forest and lake, to the bed where we slept like babies! Great afternoons reading on the deck and the hot tub was on point after hiking. Wonderful to have the fire pit as well. We loved glamping at Nalu and can’t wait to visit again in the future! Highly recommend Nalu to anyone who is looking for a getaway to truly get away from it all and relax!!!

On our first trip to Nova Scotia, we saved our last night (9/12) for Nalu. Best decision ever! Being there just after "high season", there was no boat traffic and not a lot of people around. The property is secluded and private, just what we wanted. We stayed in Dome #2. The view of the lake from the living area of our dome was breathtaking...nothing but trees and forest. We had massages in our dome by a wonderful massage therapist. The sun was setting during my massage, and I watched the tree line across the lake turn from green to gold, while my husband relaxed in the loft above. The dome was well equipped with everything you could possibly need, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Every detail and need met. A cozy fireplace. Turkish towels that have made my husband want to replace our regular towels with them. The private hot tub and fire pit on the deck overlooking the lake was the perfect relaxation to end our week exploring the province. Stars forever. We ordered food from the website to have in our dome and it was great as well. If we revisit Nova Scotia, we'll definitely book a longer stay at Nalu!
