Just spent two days at Oak Island . The staff were polite, helpful and courteous . So many things to keep a family busy. Two swimming pools, tennis court, mini golf, basketball/ball hockey court, shuffleboard, rental bikes, padel boats and more. Meals were great, entertainment in evening. Just 15 minutes from beautiful Mahone Bay Comfy beds and great ocean view. Definitely will return Recommend the boat tour by Salty Dogs Dianne and Paul

Had an amazing stay here. Really nice room and great service. Views of Oak island. If you're a fan of the show, yo can't go wrong. Salty dogs boat tours leave from the hotel marina and the road to the island is 2 doors down. Nice restaurant too. Not into the show but into coastal living? Check out the town of Mahones Bay. Lovely views and shops. Lots of history. One more for the show, the pub from the show is located here.

We stopped here for 2 nights with our kids , overall we had a good time. Just a few things that really made this place fall a little short for me - food was overall good, but breakfast was seriously horrible, I mean worse than a airport hotel with free buffet. Drinks were very good, pool and hot tub were great, but really wish the games room was available for our kids. The grounds have fun things to do for kids. Definitely ask for a water view, we had a terrible parking lot view. Rooms were overall nice. Some front desk staff were not so friendly. Would have been great if the resort also had more island tours or day trip tours available but not a deal breaker.

We had our wedding here in May it was wonderful. The venue is great, food was amazing and the chalets were cozy. The one complaint my husband and I I have time and time again is the coordinator Raelene. She was hard to communicate leading up to the wedding, unreachable the day of the wedding until late in the evening when she was no longer needed and now two months later charging our credit card without authorization. She did not know anything about the financial side of things which lead to payments being taken out late, and us being refunded and charged again for something we paid for before the wedding even happened. I understand that people can be new in their position but our experience with her was not a great one overall. This is unfortunate as the venue and food service it’s self was wonderful.

Had last-minute availability after another booking fell through. You might get lucky and spot a cast member. I got to chat with Jack Begley at the bar. Very clean with a nice breakfast and free parking. Beautiful view.

I'd give it 9 stars if I could best hotel ever. pool is great hot tub is kid friendly . View is great we stayed for 2 day's March break there is fun activity's such as s'mores ,face painting ,and a game room! I stayed with my mom first day we checked in but it was raining hard :( we went to the pool it was packed with kids I made a friend by the time I got out we went to dinner I had haddock strips (on the kids menu) my mom got the seafood chowder (on the adult menu ) we got back went to bed and woke up on the second day we had breakfast I got the kids omelet (comes with lots of food) my mom got the adults omelet I got ready for swimming and went down to the pool after that we went to the great Canadian dollar store in the Chester strip mall and headed back to the hotel I had bought some pool toys and went to the pool for a second time and tried the hot tub after that I went back to the hotel room took a shower and went to the game room (which is ulti-goated) it had a Reck it Ralph machine a hockey game a soccer table and a pool table I made a reservation and went back to the restaurant I had the chicken pasta and my mom had the haddock strips we went back to the room and watched family fued now we're watching the big Bang wi-fi some times acts up but other wise 9 stars

Beautiful view. Nice rooms. Great service. Solid dining options. Close enough to use as a home base to explore the south shore (Chester, Mahone Bay). My only complaint is they have built a very nice games room, that no one gets to use. (It's just for bookable events). Maybe let your regular guests have access to the pool table, shuffle board, and foosball table?

My family and I just stayed there and it exceeded our expectations. Beautifully renovated, great service, pool was awesome for the kids, and the outdoor hot tub was a bonus. We will go back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms, the service in the restaurant, and the beautiful view and location. We held a birthday party there and the restaurant staff were super helpful, provided seamless service, and the food was off the charts. Thank you...we will be back!

The food was good but I still found it over priced. There was no water in the room for coffee/tea. Live entertainment was excellent. Guy Paul Thibault. Cleaning staff unlocked our door and came in our room while we were in bed before 10am. Checkout is at 11am, so that was a surprise. Otherwise service was excellent.
