The Land Yacht is more than a beautiful place to stay. The ocean views, architecture, pool area, shoreline, and thoughtful details are all incredible, but what stood out most was the feeling of the property. It has presence. You can tell it was built with care, history, and intention. Thomas and Melanie were welcoming, kind, and generous, and the whole experience felt peaceful, meaningful, and unforgettable. I came expecting a beautiful stay. I left with something much deeper. Highly recommend.

I went there with my friends, and from the first moment, it just felt special… like we were sailing on a boat that mixes classic charm with a modern vibe. We held our micro wedding at the Land Yacht and it was the perfect venue. We said our vows in front of the fireplace, turned the living room into a dance floor, and wrapped up the night with a swim in the indoor pool. The hosts were wonderful to work with, so easygoing and great with communication. Such a unique spot… you need to check this place out!

What can I say….Obviously, we love the land yacht as this is our 3rd sail aboard this fine establishment. We are a group of 13 comprised of two families. The space easily allows for group activities or private time, if you desire. Love the addition of the new hot tub…the yacht never disappoints. I can’t say enough about the accommodating hosts and their attention to detail is most appreciated. The Land Yacht exceeded all expectations - The indoor pool and hot tub were pristine and inviting, and the solarium quickly became our favourite place to unwind and enjoy the stunning views. The whole place was the perfect balance of entertaining and relaxing. The hosts are exceptional - welcoming, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

I heard of the Land Yacht from a coworker, then thought it’d be the perfect way to celebrate my honest and hardworking hubby’s 50th birthday. As it turns out, I was right. Hubs seemed in shock when he arrived to see his family, then after giving him a tour his comments were “Wow! How much did you pay for this? This is where celebrities would stay!”, and, “I never thought anyone would do something this nice for me, ever. Thanks babe!”. Beyond the gorgeous view, warm pool, fantastic hot tub, comfy beds and crackling fire, your host Thomas and his lovely wife have truly thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly want to make your stay extraordinary. It felt as though my cool rich cousins were opening his home to me for a weekend. The value in the memories made are priceless, and will last forever….definitely until our next stay..my Mom loved it so much, I think she’s booking the Land Yacht again right now. I’m excited to see the new projects you have planned. Thank you for everything!!

Our large family had a wonderful stay at The Land Yacht. Although it was a rainy weekend, the views and the fireplace lended to a cozy atmosphere! The house had everything we needed and more! Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Our host was quick to respond and very gracious.

Thomas and Melanie have thought of everything for a fun, family -friendly stay. The LandYacht has a saltwater pool, cozy hangout spots, comfy beds with fresh linens, and amazing views of St. Margaret’s Bay. The hosts were very accommodating-even letting my sister play in their flower gardens. We’re already planning to come back next year to try the new hot tub!
