White Point Beach Resort offers a unique and memorable getaway with several lodging options including cabins, domes, and cottages, set on a beautiful Nova Scotia beach. Guests consistently praise the resort’s friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and activities for all ages, though some have noted issues with noise levels and potential staffing constraints during peak times.
If you stay here book a cabin, cottage or dome as the rooms that share walls with other guests are super thin and you can hear everything your neighbour is doing including: walking, tv, bathing and much more… Beach is amazing, lakeside kayak is free which was a really nice family activity. Restaurant is decent. Staff are super friendly.
Beautiful resort on Nova Scotia’s south shore. It has sprawling beachfront with many cabins, domes, and standard rooms to stay in. The main lodge is brand new and has stunning views of the water. The pool and hot tub are small, but suit the needs for small kids and families. I will say the resort is very family friendly and if you’re looking for something more intimate you should spring for a glamping dome or a treehouse. If you’re staying here you need to eat off the menu at Elliott’s dining room. Fantastic food! I would suggest staying here in the off seasons to get a cheaper rate and perhaps a quieter experience. Would be just as beautiful!
My girlfriend and I flew to Nova Scotia from Ontario for our first experience visiting the province, and staying in one of the glomes at White Point Beach Resort made the trip absolutely perfect. The glome was incredibly clean, private, cozy, and relaxing. We loved the atmosphere of being surrounded by nature while still being able to walk over to the restaurant for amazing food and live music. Seeing deer right outside our glome made the whole experience feel even more magical. It was peaceful, unique, and such a memorable way to experience Nova Scotia for the first time. We can’t wait to come back!
White Point has been visited many times as a kid and now as an adult with my own kids. We opted for the Glome and it didn't disappoint. Toasty warm when we arrived and settled in. The hot tub was a highlight with frequent use. We give big props to the rec team and entertainment room to keep the kids entertained when the weather was cool (we went early April). With a kitchenette, we brought our own food, but couldn't resist Elliots restaurant at least one night. The walking trail between the lodge and our Glome was a great way to get some fresh air and see the bunnies before warming up inside. There something for everyone - live music, pub food, fine dining, trails, activities and entertainment - all provided by friendly and warm staff. We'll be back again soon!
We arrived last Friday and were charmed by the bunnies hoping around. Everyone is friendly, and the food was pretty good. The treehouse we stayed in had a great view and was warm, almost too warm. We did wait a bit too long for our food to come around, but in fairness, though it started very quite in there, within 15 minutes it was busy. I did put in for a massage if someone canceled their appointment, as I booked too late. But we never got a call and we passed by the Spa cabin and we never saw anyone come or go from there during our stay. Not sure about that. We would certainly come again and try a cottage out. I laugh at the guy who gives 1 star cause his mug was cracked and leaked. There are lots of cups & mugs up by the buffet line you can replace it with.
? Above and Beyond Service from Heidi! ? White Point Beach Resort is already a gem on the Nova Scotia coast, but our recent stay was made truly exceptional thanks to the incredible customer service provided by Heidi. We ran into an unexpected issue (non-resort related) during our visit, and Heidi went completely above and beyond to help us resolve it. She was patient, proactive, and genuinely committed to ensuring our family had a stress-free and positive experience. She didn't just meet our expectations; she anticipated our needs and handled everything with a level of professionalism and warmth that is rarely seen today. It's clear that White Point values its guests, and employees like Heidi are the reason people keep returning. If you are looking for a beautiful location paired with truly five-star human kindness, book your trip now. Thank you, Heidi, for making a good trip great!
White Point Beach Resort is one of my favourite places to visit. This was my second trip there. Located by the beach and surrounded by water, the resort is beautifully spread out and offers an amazing atmosphere. With numerous in-house amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, golf course, and spaces for pickleball and volleyball, it truly stands out as a top choice for a getaway. It’s the perfect spot for a group trip or a relaxing night out. The restaurant and bar are excellent, offering great food and service. The only downside, in my opinion, is their very specific and early restaurant and breakfast timings. Otherwise, White Point Beach Resort is definitely a place worth visiting.
We stayed in the Ocean Front King Cottage, 1 of 2 newer cottages @ the resort, in September. We absolutely loved our experience! We were celebrating our 40th Anniversary, & spent 2 nights.... wish we had booked more!!! All staff encountered (especially Housekeeping) were wonderful... friendly, helpful, and accommodating!!! Thank you!! The cottage was beautiful, the Beach was amazing!!! I still hear the sounds of the "ocean" waves crashing on the shore!!! We dined @ Elliott's & the beef short rib was amazing!!! Outdoors, there are bunnies everywhere!!! We would definitely recommend for families, especially with the programming available. Thank you for such a wonderful memory!!!
Great honeymoon weekend with the wife. Our second visit here. We got the romance package and stayed in a glome. Loved the chocolate covered stawberrys and Nova 7 wine. Just a short peacefull walk away from the main house where we ate. We had 2 suppers and 2 breakfast. The supper is amazing. I had the beef shortribs both night and the wife had the mushroom afredo. Very good. Shout out to James, our waiter. He made us feel very welcome and had some laughs. The beach was beautiful and we couldnt have asked for a better weekend. I hope to get a tree house next time. If you are thinking about staying here, do it! It has so much character and is a magical getaway. Until next time WP. Love Justin&Chels
This was our first time at White Point Beach Resort, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The beach is beautiful and the staff were l friendly. There are a lot of kids, but the pool becomes adult only later in the evening which is a nice option for a peaceful swim, and the pool staff were fantastic. The food was excellent. We had the fish and chips and were very impressed by the portion size. We stayed in an ocean view room which had a cozy, camping-like feel since you walk to the main lodge. If you are traveling with a senior or someone with mobility issues, I would suggest booking a room in the main lodge instead. The bunnies all over the property were a highlight of the trip, such a unique and charming detail and so cute!
